A gorgeous example of the older US-made NS cellos, this five-string model was previously part of Ned Steinberger's personal collection. He decided he'd rather see it in the hands of a player, and we snapped it up so we could offer it to you! This is the last unsold US-5 cello that NS Design has available.
This NS cello has an exceptionally beautiful flamed-maple top -- the pictures really don't do this instrument justice. The fingerboard at the bridge end has the signature "S" shaped downward curve. Signed on the back plate in gold metallic ink by Ned Steinberger himself.
