# OpenFab PDX

OpenFab PDX 3d printed violins are the brain child of David Perry. They are not only high-quality electric instruments, but are modular, which makes them upgradeable and highly repairable by you! You can choose to take apart and remix your fiddle as desired!

David started the Modular Fiddle project in 2018, and it quickly became a way for him to break his own rigid relationship with the violin. Growing up in Suzuki lessons he always felt like his wooden violin was a 'Sacred Object that Should Not be Touched.' The modular fiddle not only helped David let loose, it can help you, too. With their unique and fun angular designs and attractive colors, you'll be smiling while making music for the joy of it!
