# EVS MIDI 8-pin to 13-pin cable for Zeta Synthony/Synthony II

If you have a MIDI-capable Fourness Fuse electric violin (or older Zeta with a combo jack), this fifteen foot cable will allow you to connect your violin to the Zeta Synthony/Synthony II as well as **_some_** MIDI controllers that use a 13-pin MIDI input, such as the Roland GR-20 and GR-33.

If you have a MIDI-capable Fourness Fuse electric violin (or older Zeta with a combo jack), this fifteen foot 8-pin DIN locking-collar to 13-pin DIN cable will allow you to connect your violin to the Zeta-branded Synthony/Synthony II and other Axon MIDI controllers that use a 13-pin MIDI input. This cable will also allow you to use any MIDI-capable Zeta violin (or early 8-pin Fourness violin) with previous generations of the Roland GR series guitar MIDI controllers. This cable's pin configuration definitely works with the GR-20 and the GR-33, however, it will **_not_** work with the GR-55S, which is the current model.
