# Thomastik Vision violin F string, medium

We really love the Thomastik Vision strings, which are standard equipment on all Realist™ acoustic-electric violins; using the Stark (heavy) gauge for the E, A, D, and G. For six-string violins, they also make this silver-wound Perlon­®-core F string, in a medium gauge -- Thomastik does not currently make either the C or F string in Stark. A Perlon® -core string, they have an excellent hand-feel, similar to gut, and a warm yet focused tone.
