# Wittner FineTune Geared Pegs For Violin, Set 4 x 8.6 mm tuner

FineTune pegs are geared tuners designed by Wittner to look like traditional ebony tuning pegs while giving you fine tuner-like ease and precision. Each peg head turns effortlessly, spinning around a fixed stem containing infinitely adjustable pegs that lock into position whenever you let go. With FineTune pegs you will no longer have to fight friction or the expansion and shrinking of your peg box with the changing seasons. Why tune any other way?

These FineTune pegs are a larger diameter 8.6mm and are not recommended for most violins, which typically use the smaller 7.8mm pegs. However, if your instrument has larger peg bushings, these will work.

FineTune pegs replace your 4/4 or 3/4 violin's wooden pegs and require installation, which we recommend be done by a qualified luthier.
