The crack was near the pickup bed, so it lifted the bridge slightly, but after our luthier and shop tech glued down the thin piece of wood that peeled up, the bass felt and played as good as new. After touching up the lighter area of exposed wood with a matching wood stain marker pen, the minor cosmetic damage is almost invisible.
