- Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) treated maple bridge with built in Piezo pickup and copper foil half shield cover.
- Redesigned pro circuit allowing the YEV Pro to deliver a strong sound regardless of the connection.
- Lighter weight design. The 4-string version weighs the exact same as a 4/4 acoustic violin.
- Wittner Finetune Pegs with internal gears for quick, precision tuning – even on stage.
- Real wood: Maple fingerboard and Ebony chin rest (original YEV has composite fingerboard and chin rest)
- New electroformed logo on the scroll.
- 3 color variations: Deep Red, Natural and Brown, Natural and Black.
