Glasser's Earth model BCFV violin bow is an environmentally conscious all-vegan bow. In addition to a braided carbon fiber stick, which replaces the traditional endangered woods used in bow sticks, it also uses a synthetic ebony substitute for the frog, a leatherette synthetic grip, synthetic opal eye and slide, and Kamel Hair, a synthetic vegan bow hair substitute.
