Custom Volta Violinatron Builder

Design and configure your own Violinatron! The Volta Violinatron is a first-of-its-kind 'hybrid electric violin', which features built-in speakers and a small resonator, allowing you and others around you to hear yourself play, while still operating as an electric violin, with a line output you can send to external amplification and effects equipment.

Build your custom Violinatron by choosing from the following options:

Number of Strings

• 4-string (GDAE)
• 5-string (CGDAE)
• 6-string (FCGDAE)

Fingerboard options

• Fretless (standard ebony fingerboard)
• Fretted - with raised brass frets, great for assisted intonation in difficult-to-hear performance environments, and for fingerboard visualization and fingering pattern transpositions.

Finish Color

• White or Black gloss finish (standard options)
• Glitter finishes (+$100)
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Rainbow Galaxy
• Single stage solid or metallic colors (+$150)
  • Red or red metallic
  • Blue or blue metallic
  • Green or green metallic
    
  • Purple or purpe metallic
  • 'Champagne' metallic
  • Other (indicate your custom color choice*)
• Transparent stain over flamed maple (+$500)
  This option includes an all maple body, with maple flame visible through dyed finish. (Indicate your custom color choice*)

*To indicate a custom stain or paint color, use the text field to enter a Hex Code or an image URL. For a hex code, you can use Google's Color Picker to select a precise color and paste the hex code (for example, #0000FF would be a royal blue). Otherwise, find an image online of a paint color or stain finish you like and copy/paste the image URL. Guitar galleries are a great place to search for cool custom finish colors! Effect(s) Options

The following effects options can be added to your Violinatron. Effects will be heard through the Violinatron's own speakers as well as via the line out to an amplifier.

• Looper (control live overdub recording using button control on the violin itself!)

• Base option - contains no added effects

Bluetooth

Not to confused with wireless (cable-free) output, the Bluetooth option (available only with the standard reverb effect option) allows you to connect a smartphone or mp3 playing device via Bluetooth protocol and play backing tracks through the Violinatron's speakers. Great for busking, small party gigs, or just practice and fun at home!

Case Options

• A slim, white Volta branded ABS hard case is included at no additional charge
  
• Optionally upgrade to a Volta 'Capsule' hard case in your choice of white, black, fossil gray, pastel pink, or silver).
  
  The Capsule features a tri-layer shell made from polycarbonate, high-density foam, and carbon fiber, providing exceptional durability without added weight. It comes equipped with a subway handle, padded backpack straps, and a spring-loaded side handle. Inside, your violin is secured with an adjustable neck support, while a digital hygrometer helps you monitor humidity to keep your instrument in optimal condition. A detachable accessory pouch offers organized storage for essentials like rosin, strings, and a shoulder rest.
