Use this set to convert your 6-string violin into guitar tuning. This combination of strings can be alternately tuned to give you the tuning EADGBE in the violin range, roughly one octave above the guitar's natural register.

Heavy gauge strings have a higher tension and will perform better when detuned. Use the medium gauge strings, which have a lower tension, for strings that are tuned up.
