Yamaha SVC300C PROFESSIONAL Silent Cello
The 300-series brings the highest standard of professional sound, look, and feel to Yamaha's SILENT Cello™ line. Its body design is built on the same principle of compactness and portability as the popular SVC-210SK model, with fast attachments and folding bouts for a full-bodied cello playing experience without all the bulk. Its pickup & preamp system uses the same Yamaha SRT Powered System technology that the most discerning upright bass performers have enjoyed for years, while retaining the headphone output and auxiliary input that make the SVC line so popular for practice and studio work.
The SVC300C model features an edgier tone with a tight sound, especially suited for rock or pop performances. This combined with it's compact portability make it a great choice for the gigging performer.

SRT Powered System
The SRT (Studio Response Technology) Powered System is a digital technology that, based on an analysis of the sound of acoustic instruments, adds natural tone and resonance in real time, lending an acoustic tone experience to a solid body cello. The system reproduces the player’s unique expression by adding resonance to the analog signal from the instrument’s pickups, rather than relying on any sampled sounds.
