3Dvarius Equinox 5-string Electric Violin
The Equinox is the perfect electric violin for modern design enthusiasts and tone seekers alike. It features a unibody ash wood neck and body with a 3D printed acrylic half top, which adds to the aesthetic while providing an upper bout shifting indicator and the necessary lower body width to accommodate standard violin shoulder rests. The Equinox gets it's clean, balanced tone from 3Dvarius' own 'X' pickup, a piezo-electric pickup using one sensor per string.
Made in France with state of the art technology, the Equinox body is the perfect harmony of many materials. Its body is a one single piece of ash, a hard and light colored wood. The head, the left hand-support, the shoulder rest support, and its half sounding board are made by the 3D-printing technology. The shafts of the shoulder rest support and tuning pegs are in brushed aluminum.
The unibody ash wood design allows gives optimal flow of resonance throughout the instrument, which enhances the clarity and complexity of tone. The multi-piezo 3Dvarius 'X' pickup bridge gives a wonderfully balanced output.
3Dvarius Electric Violins are made in Toulouse, France under careful production and quality control and carry a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
