The Venue DI is made with the same quality construction, high-end components, flawless circuitry, and attention to detail as we've come to expect from LR Baggs. For serious acoustic performers this is the ultimate tool for achieving perfect sound in performance as well as changing things up on the fly. As with the ParaAcoustic DI, the Venue DI offers a feedback controlling notch filter and phase inverter, as well as gain boost, XLR out and an effects send/return. The Venue DI allows you to dial in your tone to absolute perfection with 5 band EQ. Master the mid-range with separate Low Mid and Hi Mid controls, each with level and frequency selector controls. Set your gain to the appropriate level that won't clip using the VU meter. Two convenient foot switches allow you to boost your output by up to 9 db for solos, or to mute your output for tuning with the digital tuner. Finally, the Venue DI can run off DC wall power (adaptor not included - the Visual Sound One Spot is among the ones recommended by Baggs). Otherwise, a four-segment battery gauge will allow you to use a 9v battery on stage with confidence.
