Fred Carpenter designed his heavy duty 1/4 inch output jack for those violin players who need a more secure attachment than the one armed bracket. Usually mounted on the G string side, just like your chinrest, so when you plug in the output cable, it falls cleanly over your left arm, never to interfere with your playing! Must be soldered to your pickup or volume pot wire.
