This attractive, lightweight 5-string electric violin has all the physical reference points of an acoustic violin, so it feels comfortable while giving the player the range of both the violin and the viola.  Designed and built by North Carolina-based violinist (and Electric Violin Shop customer!) Dan Emmett, this fiddle has hand-made craftsmanship at a bargain price!

An eye-catching classic cherry sunburst finish adorns a bocote wood top. Bocote is an exotic tonewood from Mexico and Central America, and is known for warm, deep bass tone with a broad spectrum of mids. Paired with a Starfish Designs pickup bridge, this violin puts out an inviting warm tone.
