North Carolina-based violinist & luthier Dan Emmett's 'Purple Haze' finish is an eye-catching transparent purple and blue over a flamed maple top. You can order it as either a 4-string or a 5-string and it will be made from scratch and delivered to you in approximately 2 months!

Paired with an adjustable height single-element pickup bridge, this violin puts out an ear-pleasing tone that's way more similar to your acoustic violin than you'd expect.

Lightweight for a 5-string, this instrument has all the physical reference points of an acoustic violin, so it feels comfortable while giving the player the range of both the violin and the viola.
