The Fishman ToneDEQ contains a high-quality preamp, a dual effects section, tone controls, a compressor, level booster and a balanced DI output, all in one sturdy, compact unit!

A great preamp for solid-body electric and acoustic-electric instruments alike, the ToneDEQ, acoustic-electric lets you take complete control over your tone! Playing through PA soundboards? Ditch your amp entirely and use the balanced XLR DI output to run straight into the mixer!

Choose from 2 reverb or 2 delay settings and simulate any room size with time and level control knobs. Once the levels are set, the reverb/delay effect can be turned on or off during performance by footswtich.

Select a chorus, flanger or tremelo effect and control rate and level using separate control knobs. Turn the modulation effect on or off with the foot switch control and use individually or in combination with reverb/delay.

The knob-controlled soft-knee compression setting gracefully eliminates volume peaks by gradually rolling off higher amplitudes.

Its analog signal path goes from end to end – from preamp to output – to give acoustic musicians a richer tonal quality. Even the digital effects are mixed in parallel so they don’t affect the purity of the your acoustic instrument.

Flexible outputs include a 1/4 inch amplifier output and XLR DI output for the lowest noise possible. Plus the DI features automatic ground-lifting and selectable pre/post EQ settings.

With Fishman, you get quality discrete Class A signal conditioning created by the leader in instrument preamp design. The high impedance input is a must for any passive instrument pickup.

Legendary 4-band equalizer design provides superior tone control for any acoustic instrument. The variable low cut filter controls sub-bass effects produced by some passive pickups.
