Fortevio Feather 6-string electric violin, spalted maple
From Fortevio luthier Valentin Hristov in the UK comes the aptly named 'Feather' electric violin. The Feather is a lightweight, attractive instrument that's comfortable to play and has a great amplified tone. Its curvy cutaways leave a central top and bottom with upper bout and lower ribs that have acoustic violin size and specs for ultimate comfort and feel. The transparent finish over its flamed maple body gives it a classic look.
ForteVio's own pickup bridge has a strong, full, and open tone that provide a pleasing clean tone but also works quite well with effects.
