Custom-made for NS Design by D'addario, this is a version of the Helicore Hybrid strings specifically designed for the NS basses. 5-string set, includes low B. Gives a better bowed tone than the standard strings.For a better bowed tone for your NS Bass, swap out your existing strings for a set of the Helicore Hybrids that D'addario makes for NS Designs electric upright basses. Similar to the regular Helicore Hybrid strings that D'addario makes for acoustic basses, they are designed to have more growl and sustain than orchestral bass strings, while producing a better bowed sound, easier, than strings sets mainly designed for pizzicato playing.
