Because every bass will respond differently to the pickup, Gage and Steinberger have developed an Adjustable Weight System that allows small weights to be added to or removed from the pickup. While very small (33.3 and 66.6 grams, respectively), the two weights can dramatically alter the tonal properties of the amplified tone. The weights can also help to eliminate pesky wolf-tones.
