Violin Preset Bundle for Line 6 HX Stomp, by Matt Bell

A downloadable bundle of 16 violin-specific presets for Line 6 HX Stomp or Stomp XL effects processors, created by professional electric violinist Matt Bell. Your download will be a .zip file that includes the .hlx Helix preset files listed below, impulse response .wav files, and a User Manual PDF. You can import the files to your compatible Helix processor using the free 'HX Edit' software app, available at line6.com/software. View the video for sound demonstrations of the different patches.

Included presets:

• Acoustic Cello -- A clean sub-octave that uses the HX pitch shifter best suited for tracking double stops.
• Acoustic Violin -- A clean acoustic sound with footswitch options for tape saturation or stereo delay.
• Autowah violin -- An envelope filter with volume optimized for easier wah engagement with bowed violin.
• Dual Supro -- A violin body impulse and a clean-ish tube amp in parallel with each other. Set to clean tone by default, with option for distortion (pre-amplifier) or amp gain.
• Flanger Violin -- Clean(ish) amp model with two flanger settings (a lot of flanger, and 1/2 as much) 
• Phaser Violin -- Clean(ish) amp model with two phaser settings (a lot of phaser, and 1/2 as much) 
• Clarity Amp -- Clean amp model with multi-band compressor, reverb, and three levels of drive: saturation, boost, and fuzz.
• LoneStar Amp -- Low/medium gain amp model with multi-band compressor, reverb, and three levels of drive: saturation, boost, and fuzz.
• Bogner Amp -- High gain amp model with multi-band compressor, reverb, and three levels of drive: saturation, boost, and fuzz.
• Octave Synth -- Flute-like octave above that cuts through a mix.
• Pad Violin --  Aggressive high cut filter to make an unobtrusive sound that's good for pad texture within the mix.
• Reverb Violin -- Particle reverb, good for creating ethereal string washes.
• Synth Bass -- A monophonic bass synth.
• Growler Violin -- A synth bass with a lot of bottom end that requires a subwoofer.
• Pad Violin -- Pad sound for fattening up a mix. Works well with double stops.
• Clean/Dirty -- Harmonizer effect using pitch shifters to create power chords. Designed for single note playing and use with a sub woofer.
