The Forto Secondo shoulder rest from Wolf is a great choice for the high-gloss finish and rounded edges of electric violins. Rubber surgical tubing covers the feet of the shoulder rest, so it solidly grips even the slickest of materials and finishes for a firm, stable feel. Best of all, the flexible spring steel that the pad is mounted lets you shape it to better fit your body, and the legs can also be gently bent inward or outward to give a secure fit to your instrument, even its lower bout is wider or narrower than usual.

One of the most popular violin shoulder rests, ever, the Wolf Forte Secondo is also an outstanding choice for the electric violinist. Because the "feet" of their shoulder pads are mounted on spring steel and covered with rubber surgical tubing, none of the Wolf models have any problem gripping the often-rounded sides, high-gloss finishes, and unusual materials often found in electric violins and violas. Even carbon fiber, polymer, and other composite materials don't phase this shoulder rest, and no painted surface is too glossy!

The foam pad of the Wolf shoulder rests is affixed to a piece of spring steel that is highly flexible, so you can shape the pad to more comfortably fit your body. The "legs" of the Forte Secondo can also be bent outwards to accommodate larger-bodied instruments, or inward if your violin's lower bout is slimmer than usual.

For a firm grip and a stable, comfortable feel, even in aggressive playing, the Forte Secondo from Wolf is a perfect choice for the electric (or acoustic!) player. If you're very tall, or have a longer neck, consider the Forte Primo, instead.
