Spectra Lighting Kit for Yamaha YEV-104/5

The Spectra violin lighting kit is a battery powered lighting device that will add a beautiful RGB LED aesthetic that can be used stand-alone or with a DMX stage lighting setup through a wireless dongle. This kit is specially designed to fit a Yamaha YEV-104 or YEV-105 electric violin (sold separately).

Options

• No installation -- You can install it yourself following the included guide and video
  
  
• Installation with YEV purchase -- Select this option if you're buying a Yamaha YEV from us and we'll pre-install the Spectra kit onto your new Yamaha YEV violin.
  
  
• Retrofit for YEV violin (US lower 48 states only): Select this option if you already own a Yamaha YEV and want to have us retrofit this kit for you. We will email you a shipping label to send your YEV to us fully insured and will return the violin to you with the kit installed.

STANDALONE CONTROL

Lighting kit can add a static color (solid color mode), operate on a timed cycle (Auto Cycle mode), and even be reactive to the violin being played (Bump Switch mode). In solid color mode there are thirteen distinct static colors which can be selected: red, orange, yellow, yello-green, green, turquoise, cyan, cobalt, blue, violin, magento, pink, and white.

DMX CONTROL

For more advanced users and stage artists, the lighting kit can be integrated with a DMX light show for maximum control and wow factor. DMX (Digital Multiplex) is a protocol for controlling lights, such as stage lights. Coupling the Spectra kit with a DMX controller allows you to run light programs on your YEV! This mode requires a DMX wireless received (sold separately), which plugs into the XLR input on the Spectra kit. Recommend DMX dongles for use with the kit are linked below...

* Battery life dependent upon how lights are used and at what brightness level. For a fully charged Lithium Ion 9V 600mAh battery with 100% capacity, a minimum of 1.5 hours is expected when kit is left on with bright white light. Typical DMX control mode use will achieve ~6 hours of operation.
