Phrase loopers provide instant playback when you record yourself live, allowing you to self-accompany by building layered textures and backing tracks. Live looping is not only fun to do, it allows the soloist to perform rich, crowd pleasing arrangements of song covers or original tunes on their violin, viola, cello or upright bass. Loopers also serve as a fantastic learning guide in the practice room. More advanced phrase loopers contain digital storage banks that allow you to upload prerecorded backing tracks or MP3 files for accompaniment, and can also switch between phrases during performance.
