ZETA EV05 Acoustic Pro 5-string acoustic-electric violin
The ZETA Acoustic Pro incorporates an internal preamp to boost the signal of the ZETA's own bridge-integrated pickup. This technology combined with a fine spruce and maple acoustic violin body produce a great tone that is ideal for a diverse array of amplified performance applications.
Adaptability and versatility...violinists who want the best of both worlds in a single instrument will find it in the ZETA Acoustic Pro acoustic-electric violin. Beginning with a fine acoustic violin body featuring a solid spruce top, solid figured maple back & sides, figured maple neck, ebony fingerboard and a traditional varnish finish, ZETA applies its self-crafted amplification components to create a 21st century performance fiddle that looks and sounds at home in any musical style or setting. ZETA makes their own hard-maple acoustic violin bridges into which piezo transducers are embedded to make the balanced-sounding 'EV' pickup.
A unique feature of the ZETA Acoustic Pro is an onboard battery-powered preamp, which boosts signal strength, improving amplified tone. The Acoustic Pro can operate for over 1000 hours on average on a single 9-volt battery (though it's wise to keep a fresh one on hand for performing). The battery case is discreetly flush-mounted on the rear side of the lower bout; a volume knob is mounted on the top of the violin, to the right of the bridge, with the 1/4? output jack mounted on the side of the violin, to the left of the chinrest.
The Acoustic Pro comes with a very nice custom ZETA violin case, which features two large internal storage areas for strings, rosin, tuner, shoulder rest, headphones, etc. Additionally, on the outside of the case, are two zippered pockets with ample storage for all cables, music, etc.
