The Realist™ violin from David Gage String Instruments combines Realist™ violin transducer technology with traditional acoustic violin sensibilities to create one of the finest purpose built acoustic-electric violins we've ever seen. The Realist violin is a discretely electrified, great sounding instrument for classical and traditional violinists needing to amplify. Originally available in 'Standard' and 'Pro' models with Chinese-sourced violin bodies, the Realist violins are now made from finer European-sourced violin bodies and offered as the passive RV-e and RV-PeA "Instant Active" models, employing a Mi-Si-based preamp with s super-capacitor built into the output jack.
